Congratulations to the Huskies track and field team for competing at the State Meet. Also, congrats to Tandy Planichek for her 3rd place finish in the 100m dash and 6th place finish in the 200m dash.
The 8th grade class celebrated the end of Junior high today with their promotion ceremony. Kailey Campbell gave a great speech and Brody Pelton was awarded the Top 8th grader Award.
We are so excited to once again be offering our Husky Pup Camp this summer! Registration forms are headed to the elementary and will be sent home with kiddos. This is sure to be a fantastic time!

An FBI agent came to Absarokee school Friday to teach Mrs. Gunderson's 8th, 9th, and 10th graders how investigators solve crimes. Students have read several mysteries and now they got to be detectives with a mock crime scene!
Sarah and Trenton Russell spent the day teaching PE students how to waltz, polka, two step and jitterbug. It was a fun day of dancing!

The 8th grade class traveled to Yellowstone National Park on Tuesday. They had a wonderful day. A special thank you to Catherine Frazer, Mark Ferster, & our bus driver Ralph Millican for all of their help.

Read Naturally is one of our intervention programs that we use to help kids with their reading fluency and comprehension. At the end of each story, we have them write a "retell" of the story in their own words and put it on a caterpillar. When the group gets to a certain point on the caterpillar "wall" we celebrate with a party!
