The sheriff's department and myself just completed a search of both schools. We did not find anything out of the ordinary. I think at this point we can call the threat a hoax. Yet, I am having our SRO here for the remainder of the day and asked him to be visible at both schools. We will have our counselor available for any students that may feel unsafe, while they are at school today.

Yesterday evening, a threatening email was sent to many Montana school districts. Our school was one that did receive the email. It seems to have been sent to myself, Mrs. Lester and the school board members. Like all threats, we are taking it very seriously. We have contacted law enforcement and are working with them to look into the threat. I will keep the community informed as I receive more information. As always, student and staff safety, is always our top priority.
