Mr. Lipp and our 5th grade band played Name That Tune with a few kindergarten guests: Penny Mullen, Maisyn Barthelmess and Lucy Valdez!! The kindergarteners loved listening to the band play songs they recognized!

3rd Graders had a great time choosing a country and researching it in social studies. To finish it off, they did a project at home with their parents and brought to class to share!

Claire learned about Norway. She has a great-great grandfather who competed in the Olympics as a ski-jumper!
Natty learned about Greece and brought us yummy baklava to try!
Millie learned about Egypt and created this awesome Lego model of the Great Pyramids!
McKenzie learned about Costa Rica and shared about some of the important land features and food.
Ryle learned about Italy and brought us information about chariot racing.
Kamryn chose Japan and brought us super cool Japanese sodas and Pocky Sticks!
Willow learned about Brazil and showcased a few Brazilian animals.
Toby learned about France and created the Eiffel Tower!
Eli researched South Africa and then did a deep dive on wart hogs.
