High school students helped set up for the quilt show at the Cobblestone this morning. The quilt show is this Friday and Saturday at the Cobblestone.

Absarokee School District is seeking one full time instructional paraprofessional. This position will have responsibilities at both the elementary school and the jh/high school. This position is 4 days a week. Salary starting at $15.97/hour, depending on experience.
Paraprofessional- Instructional
Job Description:
-Provide instruction to students individually or in small groups to learn new or further reinforce core/basic skills.
-Monitors and assists students through drills, practice, and study activities.
-Assists in presentation of learning materials and instructional exercises in compliance with the student's IEP.
-Assists in maintaining a variety of reports and records.
-Perform general clerical duties for instructional personnel (i.e., copying, filing, and typing).
-Assists in management and shaping of student behavior through use of positive reinforcement strategies.
-Consults with other professionals and teaching staff regarding progress of students and related educational matters.
-Maintain cooperative working relationships with students, staff, parents, and general public.
(Minimal duties listed, other duties may be assigned by the Special Education Teacher/Building Principal)
