Montana Emergency services wants to make sure Montana’s AMBER Alert system works well when they need it, so on Friday, January 13th, 2023 at approximately 10:00 am, a live test of Montana’s AMBER Alert system will be conducted. During the test, a message will be broadcast on cell phones, Montana Broadcasting TV & radio stations, the National Weather Service Emergency Alert System and NOAA Weather radio, the MT Lottery, and the MT Department of Transportation road signs and 511 information line. Action by the public during the test is not required.
