Husky Pup Soccer practice is canceled today due to the weather!

Congratulations to our House Leaders of the Week! These students have gone above and beyond—showing academic excellence, demonstrating PAX leadership, and setting a positive example for others. We’re so proud of their hard work, teamwork, and dedication to making our school a great place to learn and grow. Keep up the amazing work, leaders!

Our hearts are heavy with the passing of Easton Jones. To honor his memory, we invite everyone to wear green during our volleyball and football games against RPR this Friday and Saturday. During the games, they will also be passing a boot to collect donations for the Jones family.
Please help us spread the word and share the information with anyone who might be attending the games. Let’s come together as a community to show our love and support for Easton and his family.

First Grade had the opportunity to visit the 6th Grade last week. 6th Grade worked to build games in science and our First Grade class got to play the games. Everyone had so much fun!

Congratulations to our Leaders of the Week! These amazing students are the leaders of their Houses this week! They’ve earned the most points by being true PAX Leaders, showing outstanding performance, achieving academic goals, reaching reading and/or math milestones, and demonstrating incredible school spirit! 💪📚✨
Way to go, House Leaders — keep shining and leading the way!

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Our school community has recently learned of the tragic loss of a student from Stillwater County. While this loss did not occur within our own school, we recognize that it may still deeply affect our students, families, and staff. News like this can stir up many emotions — sadness, confusion, fear, or even memories of personal loss.
We want you to know that support is available for any student who may be struggling. If your child is experiencing grief or having a difficult time processing this news, please encourage them to reach out to the school counselor during the school day. She is here to listen and help students navigate their feelings in a safe and caring environment. Mrs. Reissig can be contacted at reissign@absarokee.k12.mt.us or 406-328-4583.
You know your child best, and you may notice signs of grief or distress such as changes in mood, sleep, appetite, or school engagement. Gentle conversations, reassurance, and maintaining routines can help children feel safe and supported. If you feel your child needs additional care, please don’t hesitate to contact Mrs. Reissig — together we can connect your family with appropriate resources.
Our thoughts are with the family, friends, and school community impacted by this loss. Thank you for continuing to care for and support one another during this difficult time.
With Compassion,
Brett Scott
Absarokee Public Schools Superintendent
